Meet the team at Craig-Y-Mor
Craig-Y-Mor is truly a family park where the pace of life slows down to a crawl, perfect for those needing to wind down and chill out.
Gerry is the driving force behind the business having owned caravan parks for years. Although we joke that Gerry is semi retired he shows no signs of slowing down!
He is a fountain of knowledge within the industry and has exceptionally high standards. With a “get the job done” attitude and superb attention to detail, Craig-Y-Mor could not be in better hands.
Jess is the second generation at Craig-Y-Mor now and has been running the park alongside her Dad for over 8 years. Jess effectively directs the general management and sales on the Park. She is keen to follow in her Dad’s footsteps and is often seen pulling on her wellies to assist in the maintenance on site too. When Jessie is not at work you will find her spending time with her beautiful little girl Georgia or on a Welsh Mountain with her two Labradors, Indi and Frank.
Debbie joined the team in 2019 – because we like to keep it in the family! Prior to this she has successfully managed caravan parks alongside Gerry and Adele since 1998 and so has heaps of expertise and familiarity. Deb is always on call and is truly dedicated to ensuring all our owners are expertly looked after.
Hobbies include: Annoying her children, hiking with Jess and the dogs, keeping fit and Bruce Springsteen!
Frequently Asked Questions
We are open from 1st March until 31st January
All our stock Caravans are priced to include delivery, siting, decking and connection; there are no hidden extras. If you purchase from elsewhere then all these costs are extra.
The yearly running costs are payable in two parts October and March. Piped gas, electric and water are metered and billed twice a year being read in August and January. Insurance must be arranged separately.
We always have a good choice of new and sometimes used Caravans available to view. We recommend all Caravans now have double glazing and central heating. £500 will secure your Caravan and site generally for 1 month. Deposits are non refundable.
Generally we would prefer to sell you a Caravan from our own stock, however, if we have a pitch available and are able to accommodated your Caravan we will (subject to quotation). We also deal with Lloyds and Kellett’s Caravans so we can supply any make or model (again, subject to quotation).
We recommend that any purchaser contact their own Bank or Building Society as they prove to be most competitive.
Craig-y-Mor is a haven of peace and tranquility; we do not have a shop or clubhouse. We are very close to the facilities and amenities of Abergele, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and Conwy. We are also a 5-minute drive to Tesco (Abergele)
The Park is a family company solely owned by Mr. & Mrs. Gerald & Adele Dodd. The park is run together with their daughter Jessica and Debbie (Adele’s sister) who are responsible for the day-to-day running of Craig-Y-Mor. We are not owned by a large group so when you call the Park you are talking directly to the owners and decision makers who can answer any questions you may have.
Craig-y-Mor is strictly a non-letting Park, however, you are free to let your family and friends use your Caravan at any time.
You are entitled to sell your Caravan on site subject to your Licence Agreement. There is a 15% + VAT transfer fee and all monies must be paid into the office.
Many owners bring their dogs, and we love to meet them! We do reserve the right to refuse any dog breed at our own discretion.
